Bye Week Teams: Philadelphia Eagles, Los Angeles Rams, Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Bengals
Green Bay Packers vs. San Francisco 49ers
Week 9 kicks off with a rematch of the NFC Championship as the Green Bay Packers travel to San Francisco to play the 49ers. After a tough loss to the Minnesota Vikings, the Packers are 5-2 and are hoping to get their 6th regular season win. After 7 games, the 49ers are 4-3 and are hoping to get back in the win column. It’ll be a close match, but I believe the Packers will win with a stronger offense. The Packers have one of the best offenses with 2,762 yards in 7 games. The Packers’ key player could be wide receiver Devante Adams who can run through the 49ers’ defense. After 5 regular season games, Adams has 502 receiving yards with 4 receiving touchdowns. Watch out for Adams, as I believe he could have 75 receiving yards and score 1 touchdown to help the Packers win.
My Prediction: Packers 35- 49ers 28
New York Giants vs. Washington Football Team
Here comes another defensive NFC East divisional battle as the New York Giants travel to Washington D.C. to play the Washington Football Team. The Giants are 1-7 and are coming off a Monday Night Football loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Washington is coming off a bye week and is hoping to improve their record to 3-5. It’ll be a tight game, but I expect Washington to win with a stronger defense. Washington has only allowed 2,164 yards in 7 games. Washington’s key player might be inside linebacker Jonathan Bostic who can silence the Giants’ offense. Bostic is Washington’s lead tackler with 52 total tackles in 7 games. I foresee Bostic will have 8 tackles to help Washington get their 1st regular season win against the Giants.
My Prediction: Washington 24- Giants 23
Chicago Bears vs. Tennessee Titans
Here is an upcoming interleague battle as the Chicago Bears travel to Nashville to play the Tennessee Titans. After 2 straight losses, the Bears are 5-3 and are hoping to end their losing streak. In the meantime, the Titans are 5-2 and are aiming to get their 6th win. It will be a battle, but I believe the Titans can win if their offense continues to average 29 points per game. Otherwise the Titans could get mauled by the Bears’ defense. The Titans’ key player could be quarterback Ryan Tannehill who can lead the Titans past the Bears. After 7 games, Tannehill has 17 touchdown passes, 3 interceptions, and 1,823 passing yards. I expect Tannehill will complete 28 of 45 passes, 265 yards, and score 2 touchdowns to help the Titans win.
My Prediction: Titans 29- Bears 28

At the same time, the Vikings are 2-5 and are hoping to turn their season around. It’ll be a tight battle, but I predict the Vikings will get the victory with a stronger offense. The Vikings are conquering the Lions in their rivalry with a 76-39-2 all time record including 5 straight victories. The Vikings’ key player could be running back Dalvin Cook who can run through the Lions’ defense. Last year, Cook had 202 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns in 2 wins against the Lions. I anticipate Cook to have 110 rushing yards and score 2 touchdowns to help the Vikings win.
My Prediction: Vikings 30- Lions 27

The Panthers are 3-5 after 2 straight losses and are hoping to get back to winning games. Meanwhile the Chiefs are 7-1 and are hoping to add another win to their season. It will be a battle, but I anticipate the Chiefs offense to beat the Panthers. After 8 regular season games, the Chiefs offense has averaged 31.6 points per game. The Chiefs lead the all- time series 4-2 including 2 straight wins against the Panthers. I believe the Chiefs’ key player might be wide receiver Tyreek Hill who can push the Chiefs’ offense through the Panther defense. In the last Panthers-Chiefs game, Hill led the team with 89 receiving yards in a 20-17 victory. I foresee Hill having 95 receiving yards to help the Chiefs achieve an easy victory.
My Prediction: Chiefs 37- Panthers 27
Houston Texans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
Here is another AFC South divisional match as the Houston Texans travel to Florida to play the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Texans and Jaguars are coming off their bye weeks with the goal of getting their 2nd regular season win. It’ll be a tight battle, but I believe the Texans will win. The Texans control the division rivalry with a 24-13 all-time record including 5 straight wins. The Jaguars lost an offensive tool with the thumb injury of quarterback Gardner Minshew. The Texans’ key player could be running back David Johnson who can run through the Jaguars’ defense. In the last Texans-Jaguars game, Johnson led the Texans with 96 rushing yards in a 30-14 win. I anticipate Johnson to have 105 rushing yards to help the Texans beat the Jaguars again.
My Prediction: Texans 32- Jaguars 21
Baltimore Ravens vs. Indianapolis Colts
Here is an upcoming AFC defensive skirmish as the Baltimore Ravens travel to Indianapolis to take on the Colts. The Ravens and Colts are 5-2 and are hoping to obtain their 6th regular season victory. It’ll be a tight game, but I predict the Colts will win with a stronger defense. The Colts’ key player could be defensive end DeForest Buckner who can slow down the Ravens’ offense. After 7 games, Buckner has 29 combined tackles and leads the Colts with 13 quarterback hits. I expect Buckner to have 4 tackles and a quarterback hit to help the Colts win.
My Prediction: Colts 27- Ravens 24
Seattle Seahawks vs. Buffalo Bills
Here comes an interleague West vs. East fight as the Seattle Seahawks travel to Buffalo to play against the Bills. The Seahawks are 6-1 after a strong 37-27 win against the San Francisco 49ers. The Seahawks are hoping to obtain their 7th win. Meanwhile, the Bills are 6-2 after 2 straight wins and hope to continue their winning streak. The Seahawks-Bills game will be a tight offensive match, but I expect the Seahawks to fly to another victory. I see the Seahawks’ offense having the upper hand if they continue to score at least 27 points in every regular season game, or they face the danger of getting trampled by the Bills’ defense. I anticipate the Seahawks’ key player to be quarterback Russell Wilson to lead the Seahawks to victory. The last time the Seahawks played the Bills, Wilson completed 20 of his 26 passes, 282 passing yards and scored 2 touchdowns in a 31-25 victory. I envision Wilson completing 31 of 40 passes, 315 passing yards, and score 3 touchdowns to help the Seahawks win.
My Prediction: Seahawks 31- Bills 27

Here is another cross country interleague battle as the Denver Broncos travel to Atlanta to face the Falcons. After a comeback win against the Los Angeles Chargers, the Broncos are 3-4 and are hoping to get their 4th victory of the 2020 NFL regular season. In the meantime, Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan and the whole Falcons squad are 2-6 after a win against the Carolina Panthers and are hoping to use that victory to turn their season around. It’ll be a close game, but I believe the Falcons offense will deliver another victory for Atlanta. The Falcons’ offense has 3,208 yards in 8 regular season games. I predict the Falcons’ key player might be wide receiver Julio Jones who can run through the Broncos’ defense. Last time the Falcons played the Broncos, Jones had 29 receiving yards on 2 receptions in a 23-16 win. However, Jones has 584 receiving yards in 8 games. I expect Jones to have 75 receiving yards to help the Falcons win.
My Prediction: Falcons 28- Broncos 27

This is another AFC West divisional match as the Las Vegas Raiders travel to Los Angeles to play the Chargers. The Raiders are 4-3 after a close 16-6 win against the Cleveland Browns with hopes to achieve their 5th regular season win. Meanwhile the Chargers are still trying to get their 3rd regular season win after losing a heartbreaker to the Denver Broncos. The Raiders-Chargers game will be a close match, but I anticipate the Chargers’ offense will lead Los Angeles to victory. The Chargers could win if their offense continues to average 417 yards per game or get tackled by the Raider defense. The Chargers’ key player might be wide receiver Mike Williams who can lead the Chargers to victory. Williams leads the Chargers squad with 312 receiving yards through 6 games. I foresee Williams having 55 receiving yards to help the Chargers win.
My Prediction: Chargers 31- Raiders 28
Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Dallas Cowboys
Here comes another NFC-AFC Conference battle as the undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers travel to Dallas to play against the Cowboys. The Steelers are 7-0 and hope to win their 8th straight game and continue their perfect season. However, the Cowboys want to give the Steelers their 1st regular season loss and turn their season around. The Steeler-Cowboy showdown will be a close match, but I believe the Steelers have the advantage with a stellar defense. The Steelers have held their opponents to 29 points or less in 7 regular season games. I anticipate the Steelers’ key player to be inside linebacker Vince Williams who can slow down the Cowboy offense. Williams has 37 tackles and could add 4 more to help the Steelers beat the Cowboys.
My Prediction: Steelers 31- Cowboys 14
Miami Dolphins vs. Arizona Cardinals
Here is another upcoming cross country football fight as the Miami Dolphins travel to the Arizona desert to play the Cardinals. After 3 straight victories, the Dolphins are 4-3 and hope to continue their winning streak. In the meantime, the Cardinals have also won 3 straight and want to add a 6th win to their 5-2 regular season record. It’ll be a close battle, but I believe the Cardinals will win with their strong offense. The Cardinals could win if they continue to score 30 points per game. Otherwise they could enjoy getting sacked by the Dolphins’ defense. I foresee the Cardinals key player to be wide receiver Christian Kirk who can lead the Cardinals past the Dolphins. Kirk has 277 receiving yards through 7 regular season games. I anticipate Kirk to have 45 receiving yards to help the Cardinals win.
My Prediction: Cardinals 37- Dolphins 31
New Orleans Saints vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Here comes an NFC South divisional version of big Sunday Night Football Showdown as the New Orleans Saints travel to Tampa Bay to fight the Buccaneers. The Saints control the rivalry with a 33-20 all time record with 4 straight victories. The Saints and Buccaneers are both 5-2 and are hoping for their 6th regular season win. It will be a close battle, but I expect the Saints to win with their stellar offense. The Saints’ key player could be wide receiver Jared Cook who can help the Saints’ offense get through the Buccaneers’ defense. Last time the Saints played the Buccaneers, Cook had 80 receiving yards in a 34-23 win. I believe Cook could have 90 receiving yards to help the Saints defeat the Buccaneers again.
My Prediction: Saints 31- Buccaneers 28

After 4 straight losses, the Patriots are 2-5 and want to end their losing streak. Meanwhile the Jets are 0-8 and want to obtain their 1st regular season win. It’ll be a battle of the defenses, but I believe the Patriots have the advantage. The Patriots control the rivalry with a 67-54-1 all-time record including 8 straight wins against the Jets. I believe the Patriots’ key player could be inside linebacker Ja’ Whaun Bentley who can shut down the Jets’ offense. Bentley has 45 tackles through 7 games. I anticipate Bentley to add 6 more tackles to help the Patriots beat the Jets.
My Prediction: Patriots 28- Jets 21
