BROOKLYN!!!!

What a game. With the odds stacked against them for the first time time this season, the Nets pulled out their biggest win of the year. The man responsible for such an epic win is none other than Kevin Durant. On a night without Kyrie Irving and James Harden playing injured and only making 1 shot from the field. Durant dropped a 49 point triple double with 3 steals and 2 blocks. Durant was ridiculously efficient making 16 of his 23 shots.

Durant was aided by Jeff Green who was 8 for 11 and 7 of 8 from 3. Green picked up major slack with Brookyn's two other superstars non factors and a bad game from Joe Harris.

The Bucks made zero adjustments, despite Giannis excelling at the 5 in game 4, Bud insisted on leaving Brook Lopez in the game down the stretch who got used and abused by Brooklyn repeatedly on the defensive end. Slowly throughout the 2nd half Brooklyn chipped away at Milwaukee's 16 point halftime lead. Middleton's missed shots opened a door that Kevin Durant and Jeff Green were able to squeeze through.

This was a terrible loss for Milwaukee. There's no reason they should have lost this basketball game. Kyrie was out, Harden was a shell of not just himself but wouldn't have even cut it as a replacement player and they still found a way to lose. If the Bucks don't crawl out of this hole and win the series in 7, there will be blood. Budenholzer will be gone before his post-game presser and it will be a long and painful offseason as Milwaukee has very little ways to upgrade their roster following the Jrue Holiday trade and their lack of cap space.

On a lighter note, this game has a chance to be the game of Kevin Durant's career. LeBron has Game 7 of the 2016 Finals, Jordan has Game 6 of the 1998 Finals, this could be KD's game if Brooklyn lifts that trophy at the end of it all. All of the talk of KD being soft and unable to carry a team is completely meaningless now. It's hard to argue that this man isn't the greatest player in the world today.
